Kifaru Youth & Children Centre (KYCC) is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) established in 2014. It is headquartered in the Karatu District, Tanzania and operates its centre in the town of Karatu. The organization is registered under Non-Governmental Organization Act, 2002 with Registration No. 00NGO/00007798.
KYCC was established for and aims to provide opportunities for children of this rural Tanzanian area who would otherwise not be able to attend school. These children include orphans and street children as well as rural area youth.
Vision
Our vision is to operate a centre of excellence that enables the community, especially children, youths, students, the disabled and marginalized groups, to achieve a more optimal standard of living. We envision operating a Centre that will integrate development in Karatu and beyond

Our mission is to empower the people of KARATU to obtain sustainable development through training, research and advocacy; through basic and advanced education; through social integration, policy analysis and evaluation; all in order to improve, promote, and provide positive change in the community
